Austin J. Holzknecht
Austin Holzknecht joined Zinober, Diana & Monteverde, P.A. in 2021 as an Associate in the firm's Fort Lauderdale office. He currently focuses his practice on first party property litigation.
Austin earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University. He went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami College of Law. Here, he participated in the International and Comparative Law Review as well as completing the Litigation Skills Program. While in law school, Austin worked in Health Care Law through the Health Rights Clinic, completed an internship at the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office in the felony division. Austin spent a summer interning for a United States Congressman in the United States House of Representatives in Washington D.C. He went on to hold a position as a law clerk at a large Defense Firm located in South Florida. Since gaining admission to the Florida Bar, Austin has represented both homeowners and Insurance Carriers in first party property damage disputes.
Austin is a South Florida native who enjoys spending time with his family and friends, golfing, fishing and traveling.
